Passenger location
Passenger location may help select country context, pickup, route and active-ride safety. The user can enter a place manually when the feature permits it; website location must require an explicit browser action.

Location disclosure
Location is used only for visible ride, map, safety and Driver work functions with the relevant device permission.
Driver background location
The Driver app may use background location while the Driver is online, navigating to pickup, or carrying out an active ride so dispatch, arrival, navigation and safety state remain current. It requires operating-system permission and must not continue as profile geography authority.
Controls
A Driver can go offline and can review or restrict location permission in device settings, although work features may then be unavailable. GPS, IP and operating context must never rewrite the Driver's confirmed onboarding country or city.
